Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will lead surveying operations, oversee project workflows, and ensure that all survey activities meet regulatory and quality standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual looking to advance their career with a dynamic and expanding firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage land surveying projects from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Perform boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction staking surveys.
Prepare and review plats, legal descriptions, and survey drawings for compliance with client specifications and regulatory requirements.
Utilize and maintain survey equipment, including GPS, total stations, and data collectors.
Manage field crews, providing guidance and ensuring safety and efficiency on job sites.
Collaborate with engineers, developers, and clients to provide accurate survey data and resolve technical challenges.
Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in survey technology.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal surveying laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in WA or ability to obtain within reason.
5+ years of experience in land surveying, with a strong understanding of survey principles and practices.
Proficiency in survey software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS applications, and data collection tools.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience with drone technology, 3D scanning, or other advanced surveying methods is a plus.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
