Location: Cleveland, OH (On-site - Must work from the office)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 per year
Description We are seeking a passionate and motivated Entry Level Communications Assistant to join our dynamic team. This entry-level role is perfect for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in communications and public relations. As the Communications Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our communications department's initiatives and projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation and distribution of press releases and media materials.
- Help manage and update social media platforms, including crafting engaging posts and monitoring audience engagement.
- Support the team in organizing events, including conferences and community outreach initiatives.
- Conduct research on industry trends and media coverage relevant to our organization.
- Maintain media contact lists and help coordinate outreach efforts with journalists and other stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of internal and external communications materials, including newsletters and reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
- Basic knowledge of media relations and communication best practices.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
