Job Title: Workday Architect 

Location: Boston, MA  

Type: Contract 

Position Overview:  
Seeking a Workday Architect to design, optimize, and scale our Workday platform to meet evolving business needs. This position will collaborate across departments to deliver innovative, efficient, and compliant Workday solutions. 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Lead architecture design for Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Time Tracking, and Compensation. 

• Work closely with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to capture and translate requirements. 

• Define configuration strategies to ensure flexibility and long-term maintainability. 

• Manage integrations with internal systems and external partners. 

• Produce architectural and technical documentation. 

• Monitor Workday updates to leverage new capabilities. 

• Coach administrators and developers on Workday best practices. 

• Resolve high-priority production issues. 

Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work history. 

• 7+ years of Workday platform experience; 3+ years in an architect or lead position. 

• Deep knowledge of Workday integration tools and multiple modules. 

• Experience delivering enterprise-grade Workday solutions. 

• Understanding of HR, payroll, and finance processes. 

• Exceptional interpersonal and analytical skills. 

• Relevant Workday certifications preferred. 

Preferred Skills:  

• Workday Security, BIRT, and reporting expertise. 

• Knowledge of cloud and integration architecture. 

• Awareness of regulatory compliance in HR/payroll systems. 

• Agile or PMP project leadership experience.
