Job Description

Creekside Animal Hospital in Roanoke Rapids, NC is looking for one Veterinary Assistant willing to be crossed trained as Receptionist and Kennel Asst. to join our 14-person strong team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and hard-working with great personality.

Responsibilities

• Administer necessary medication
• Prepare animals for surgery as directed
• Assist in managing or restraining patients as needed
• Maintain a safe and sterile work environment
• Assist and cross train as Receptionist and Kennel Asst. when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a veterinary assistant
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
• Familiarity with equipment and procedure
• Ability to multi-task effectively
