Primary Objective:  In broad terms, briefly state the major purpose of primary objective of this position.

• To tie in the ends of a full beam into the ends from the warp previously in the loom.

Major Function and Scope: Using brief narrative statements, describe each major function of responsibility explaining the scope of the function as appropriate.

• Place tie in machine on frame track
• Spray end along path of the knotter
• Apply proper tension to the warp ends
• Correctly place the lease ends into the knotter.  
• Observe and adjust as necessary to ensure that all ends have been tied properly
• Disassemble frame and pull new warp over to be smashed
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision 
• Follow all established standard operating and safety procedures as well as company policies
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
• Perform other tasks assigned by management

Type of Experience and Knowledge:

Knowledge, Experience, Certifications: Describe the education, knowledge required, years of experience, specific skills and abilities required to do the job on a fully competent basis.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Successful completion of all required on the job training
• Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training
• Must be an experienced Framer

Competencies:  Describe the specific skills required for this position in terms of technical, managerial, interpersonal skills and unique abilities.

• Operate in a team-based environment
