Job Title: Staff Accountant
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000
Location: Bethesda, MD

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our client's accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of operational accounting processes and a passion for contributing to an organization’s financial success.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, weekly check runs, and staff reimbursements
Assist with budget grant reporting, ensuring compliance with organizational guidelines
Perform monthly close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
Maintain accurate and timely financial records
Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
1+ years of experience in operational accounting
Experience in non-profit or public accounting is highly preferred
Proficiency in MS Dynamics NAV/Navision/Business Central
Strong Excel skills, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
