Overview:
Seeking an experienced SharePoint and Microsoft 365 Consultant to lead and execute the migration of SharePoint 2016 On-Premises environments to SharePoint Online (SPOL) . This role includes environment assessment, planning, content migration, custom application development, automation, and implementation of security best practices across Microsoft 365 services. The consultant will provide technical leadership throughout the full project lifecycle while ensuring all security and governance standards are met.
Assess existing SharePoint On-Premises environments and define a detailed migration strategy using ShareGate .
Migrate content, metadata, and site collections to SharePoint Online .
Design and develop a custom Angular application integrated with Microsoft Graph APIs .
Implement automation solutions using PowerShell and Azure Functions .
Configure Azure Active Directory (AAD) security, including MFA , RBAC , and compliance requirements.
Produce comprehensive documentation covering architecture, migration steps, and governance standards.
Support and enhance key internal applications related to Microsoft 365 ecosystems.
Strong experience with SharePoint 2016 On-Premises and SharePoint Online
Expertise with ShareGate migration tools
Hands-on development experience with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Graph API
Proficiency in Angular (v12+), TypeScript, RxJS
Expertise in .NET development and MS SQL Server
Automation experience with PowerShell and Azure Functions
Deep understanding of Azure Active Directory security and governance
Experience working on government or public-sector projects
Prior experience with NYC agencies
Experience with enterprise compliance and audit requirements
