We are seeking a motivated, energetic, and detail-oriented Public Relations and Communications Assistant to join our team. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals eager to launch a career in public relations, marketing, or nonprofit development. The successful candidate will support a variety of PR initiatives and event marketing activities, contributing to impactful campaigns and community engagement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of promotional events and fundraising campaigns
Support the creation and distribution of marketing and promotional materials
Help maintain and nurture relationships with local media, community partners, and stakeholders
Monitor media coverage and compile regular reports and updates for internal teams
Conduct outreach to potential donors, sponsors, and event participants
Represent clients and/or the organization at events, engaging with the public in a professional and enthusiastic manner
Contribute ideas and assist in the development of communication and marketing strategies
A recent graduate or early-career professional with a background in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field
A strong communicator with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Eager to learn, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
