Oracle Developer - PL/SQL || Baltimore, MD - Onsite role || Contract W2

Description of Work:

• Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Plus, Korn shell Linux scripting , some ETL experience and data warehouse concept and JCL
• Maintain Oracle PL/SQL scripts and Korn shell Linux scripting development.
• Participate in all customers technical discussions/design/development meetings and provide technical inputs to further enhance the code quality/process.
• Monitor and address ETL process to special processing requirements.
• Impact functional strategy by developing new solutions, processes, standards, or operational plans that position Leidos competitively in the marketplace.
• All other duties as assigned or directed.

Basic Qualifications: Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Masters or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience
• 8 years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Plus, Korn shell Linux scripting , some ETL experience and data warehouse concept.
• COBOL(nice to have), JCL(must), Control M (nice to have).
• Able to multitask and support multiple projects.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hands on experience in PL/SQL and ETL process.
• Hands on experience in COBOL(nice to have), JCL(must), Control M (nice to have).
• Address ad hoc Management Information/Business Intelligence (MI/BI) report requests.
• Experience using Bitbucket, Git and SourceTree.
• Excellent communication and written skills
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.

• Strong Oracle PL/SQL, with ETL and Data warehousing Techniques.
• Strong working experience with BI Development (i.e., Tableau and other BI tools)
• Experience with Linux environments.
• Experience in information architecture, data architecture, data modeling, data governance, ETL design, data quality and BI analytics .
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
