Fraport Greece is currently looking to cover the position of IT&Τ Aviation Systems Engineer. The role is responsible to install and provide support to all IT&T systems related to aviation and airport terminal operations as well as their relevant interfaces. The position assures high availability, quality and functionality of the aviation systems and their usability for all internal/external users.

What you will be doing:
Provide analysis and isolation of incidents in order to ensure systems’ operation.
Perform the systems’ monitoring and identification of user needs to ensure smooth operation and usability.
Evaluate and modify system's performance to meet user demand and ensure service continuity.
Design solutions, prepares technical studies and consults based on business requirements.
Monitor systems’ resource capacity in terms of central and client infrastructure and ensures the accurate inventory.
Update systems’ applications and interfaces under responsibility, in accordance to the software roadmap and release management procedures, in order to ensure systems’ integrity and availability.
Analyze and recommend new products and solutions for internal or external users to ensure that the company is up-to-date with the latest trends in technology.
Participate in the design and realization of new solutions (projects) for passenger processes and terminal operations thus to improve the provided services and respond to new business needs.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
Minimum work experience of 5 years in computer operations and application administration.
Airport experience and/or IT systems operation in the transportation industry.
Familiarity with airport passenger and baggage handling systems and their associated applications.
Experience in design and setup of server and client infrastructure from different vendors.
Experience in Microsoft systems administration.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure environment and data network technologies.
Airport experience is an advantage.
Fluent in written and spoken Greek/English.
