Summary

At Garden City, our mission is to encourage in adults and children the love of learning and a love for the Lord. Our vision statement is for the staff to be professional, children be prepared and the parents be pleasantly surprised.

We are looking for team players that are dedicated and love working with people and children and not only teach them academically but also teach children life experiences in a positive and purposeful way.

Duties

Duties include but not limited to:

• Love children!!
• Pray for the children, families, and team at Garden City on a regular basis
• Engage with infants through interactive play, stories and songs
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents and team members
• Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times, being alert for the needs and/or problems of the children as individuals and as a group
• Prepare weekly lesson plans
• Keep parents informed daily how their child did that day
• Have fun!!

Requirements

• TB Test
• Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Food Handlers Card
• First Aid/CPR - Child/Infant and Adult (In Person Training only)
• High School Diploma or GED
• 25 hours of professional development online or in person annually-Free to employee
• 6+ months experience in a child care setting
• An open heart, endless enthusiasm, and a lively personality that fits perfectly with our vibrant atmosphere.
