Job Summary:

Three Oaks Hospitality is looking for an outgoing, reliable Hot Dog Cart Hawker to run our mobile hot dog cart at Armature Works! Armature Works is a historic mixed-use hub ripe for exploration — full of unique experiences, innovative eateries, memorable events and everything in-between. With its unobstructed view of the Hillsborough River, the historic structure has been restored and reimagined into what is now a premier Tampa destination.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional culinary experiences while managing a high-volume hot dog vending operation. Your expertise in food preparation and customer service will ensure that we meet and exceed our customers' expectations. This is a part-time position and requires availability on weekends, late nights, and at events.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Oversee daily operations of the hot dog vending station, ensuring quality and consistency in food preparation and service
• Manage inventory levels, including sourcing high-quality ingredients and supplies
• Engage with customers to provide an outstanding dining experience, addressing inquiries and feedback promptly
• Implement and maintain health and safety standards in compliance with local regulations
• Develop and execute promotional strategies to increase sales and attract new customers
• Responsible for keeping the work area and surroundings clean using sanitation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and uphold health and safety standards

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
• Possess valid food handling certificate
• Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation and product inventory.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.
• Must be at least 18 or older.
• Must be able to work weekends, late nights, and events.

Education and Experience: 

• High school diploma or GED
• Hospitality experience is a plus.

 Physical Requirements: 

• Remain standing for extended periods of time.
• Bending, squatting and lifting up to 25 lbs. 
• Ability to work with varying noise levels.
