Job Description

Making A Difference Foundation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Grant Manager to oversee our grant programs and ensure the successful implementation and management of funding opportunities. In this key role, you will be responsible for the identification, application, and reporting processes for grants. You will work closely with the development team to strategically align grants with our mission and programs. The ideal candidate will have outstanding organizational skills, a passion for effective communication, and the ability to build relationships with funders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full grant cycle from research and writing to submission and post-award compliance.
  • Develop and maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with program staff to gather information and ensure alignment with grant proposals.
  • Monitor grant compliance and prepare grant reports for funders.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of grant-funded programs and provide insights for improvements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with funders and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on funding trends and opportunities relevant to our mission.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in grant management or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of grant writing, compliance, and reporting processes.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating as part of a team.
