Salary: $80,000 - 115,000 per year Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years of technical experience in deploying and maintaining GIS capabilities in operational settings.
• At least 1 year of experience with the Esri software stack.
• Familiarity with ICD 503 and DoD cybersecurity standards (e.g., DISA STIGs, RMF, ACAS).
• Experience managing SSL certificates, firewalls, and system security configurations.
• Proficiency in scripting and optimization.
• An enthusiasm for troubleshooting, documentation, and communication.
• Willingness to work onsite at least 80% of the time or as necessary.
• A degree in a technical discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• A 4-year degree in GIS or engineering science, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and oversee ArcGIS Enterprise and other GIS components within a classified IT environment.
• Ensure that all GIS systems adhere to DoD cybersecurity policies, including DISA STIGs, RMF, and ACAS/HBSS reporting requirements.
• Manage various GIS tools in disconnected environments.
• Execute system hardening, patch management, and vulnerability mitigation.
• Work alongside developers and analysts to deploy secure web services, geoprocessing tools, and custom applications.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and logging while generating reports on system health as needed.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for accreditation, audits, and change management processes.
• Support geospatial DevSecOps and infrastructure-as-code initiatives as applicable.

We are in search of a skilled Esri System Administrator to assist with geospatial enterprise systems within a government or defense environment.
