Enterprise Product Data Governance Lead:
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Data Governance Lead to join our transformation initiative to build a Product Master using Oracle Cloud PDH. The role involves governing, managing, and optimizing product data organization wide. This position requires expertise in Product Data Management, with knowledge in Master Data Management focusing on customer, product, and contact data. The candidate should have significant experience in leading master data management initiatives. Knowledge of Oracle Cloud or similar MDM tools is required. The role involves maintaining accuracy, governance, and integration of critical data to ensure high-quality data management that supports business operations, decision-making, and data-driven insights across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end of product data conversion initiative, ensuring high data quality, consistency, and integration across systems.
• Lead the stewardship of product data to ensure that it is accurate, complete, and compliant with organizational standards.
• Work with cross function data stewards/owners and governance teams to enforce data standards, policies, and lineage tracking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data initiatives and ensure alignment across the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency within the boundary environment and mandate the data remediation team to enhance the quality of data at the source.
• Administer, configure, and maintain the Product Data glossary working with Glossary operations team.
• Ensure product data management and product data community is managed to drive change management and continuous improvement
• Oversee metadata ingestion, curation, and classification to enhance data discovery.
• Partner with business and technical teams to promote data literacy and catalog adoption.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in MDM, data management or data conversion projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• 7+ years of data governance lead and/or stewardship experience. Experience in product data management is highly preferred.
• Strong data governance and data quality management background.
• Ability to work independently and strong judgment in decision-making and prioritization.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple internal/external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in data management tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel). Experience with data conversion tools and methodologies.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Project Management Professional (PMP)) are a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Management, Data Science, or a related field.

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $103-149/Hr
