Your efforts will contribute to creating a safer, more reliable, and environmentally responsible energy system for Californians. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare concise and impactful summaries, reports, and presentations for Administrative Law Judges, Commissioners, and stakeholders.
  • Analyze procedural filings, program data, and stakeholder input to inform energy policy decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to advance clean energy initiatives and ensure program alignment with California’s energy goals.
  • Assist in organizing and documenting workshops and stakeholder meetings, contributing to meaningful discussions on energy issues.
  • Perform quantitative analysis using tools like Microsoft Excel to support policy evaluation and decision-making.
  • Support projects related to safety, equity, and greenhouse gas reduction, helping California transition to a clean, affordable, and reliable energy future.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with others to achieve positive outcomes—including collaboration with colleagues, agencies, community organizations, or the public—especially in ways that build trust, understanding, or inclusion.
  • Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills, with a passion for applying data to real-world energy and equity challenges.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A desire to support innovative solutions for California’s energy challenges, with an understanding of energy equity and environmental justice.
  • Applied analytical and communication skillset—whether you're experienced in Excel, Python, visualization software, community engagement, or environmental advocacy, there’s room to grow and contribute.
