Griswold Home Care for North San Diego is calling all compassionate individuals with flexible schedule to work part time to apply to join our amazing team as a Home Care Aide/Driver (hereinafter "Care Partner")!
Compensation: $19

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Compassion and great communication.
- Complete LiveScan fingerprinting and background check.
- Become a registered Home Care Aide with California Department of Social Services
- Current TB clearance taken in last 90-days or within 7-days of hire.
- Class C Driver's license, clean driving records, and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to lift more than 45 lbs.
- 2 years of experience required.
- High School diploma or GED minimum.
YOUR LIFE AS A CARE PARTNER
This companionship and care partner position offers flexible hours and opportunities to assist seniors to and from appointments.
As a Care Partner, you have the rewarding job of helping older adults live as fully and independently as possible while remaining in the places they love. You competently provide non-medical care and home companionship including transportation as needed. With the client’s dignity always at the forefront of your mind, you help them maintain social engagements. You are gentle and professional as you assist them safely complete their errands. Your kind and patient demeanor serves you well as you ensure they receive the highest quality of care.
You carefully complete documentation for each shift, submitting timely updates. Committed to providing consistent, quality care, you communicate routinely with the office about the condition and needs of your clients. You feel good about helping older adults enjoy their golden years, and you are glad you chose a career in the senior care industry.
PRIMARY SERVICE AREA
While we will prioritize assigning you to a home site near you, you may also be assigned cases that require commuting within our primary geographical service area. This area includes Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, Solana Beach, La Jolla, Sorrento Valley/Mesa, Mira Mesa, Black Mountain Ranch, Rancho Peñasquitos, Rancho Bernardo, Poway, and Carmel Valley.
