Role Overview:

• Execute thorough inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), adhering to stringent acceptance benchmarks.
• Coordinate the calibration process with operations and third-party collaborators, ensuring timely management of necessary equipment.
• Create and optimize programs for automated inspection processes, offering solutions for any arising discrepancies.
• Analyze complex blueprints and manufacturing documentation to accurately interpret inspection outcomes.
• Develop comprehensive inspection records, cite non-compliant findings, and initiate corrective actions effectively.
• Draft detailed visual guides for inspection techniques and lead training initiatives for colleagues and team operators.
• Participate in the regular upkeep and organization of the work environment through 5S+ methods.
• Pursue continuous professional development, sustain certifications, and support supplementary quality tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or a recognized equivalent is necessary.
• At least one year of detailed inspection experience required.
• Two or more years of CMM programming experience; aerospace industry expertise advantageous.
• Must possess a current CMM certification.

Capabilities:

• Proven skill in designing, scripting, and troubleshooting automated inspection systems.
• High proficiency with Mitutoyo, MCOSMOS for solid model programming.
• Adept at interpreting blueprints, technical specifications, and utilizing multiple measuring instruments.
• Experience using MFGPro for efficient part processing and WISPER for documenting defective materials.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and Word applications.
• Competency in conducting mathematical calculations necessary for various unit measurements and data interpretations.
• Detail-oriented approach with a strong focus on procedure compliance.
• Strong familiarity with industry manufacturing processes and quality benchmarks.
• Comprehensive knowledge in inspection protocols and certification processes.
