Job Description

The Credit Support Specialist will work closely with the Accounts Receivable department, retailers, and outside sources to ensure accurate and clean statements. This role involves handling due date changes, service charge credits, proper customer master data setup, and documentation of retailer application files and loan documentation for all accounts in assigned regions. The individual will manage retailer issues, oversee activities of the assigned Credit Support Associate, reconcile customer discrepancies, and support A/R departmental projects and ad-hoc reporting. This position reports to the Divisional Credit Manager and is located in Oak Brook. What You'll DoHandle statement-related discrepancies and provide accurate and timely reconciliation of retailer accounts for assigned regions.Resolve retailer issues via phone call, email, reports, or letter as needed.Ensure all store applications for retailers in assigned regions are processed according to policy.Maintain proper account setup and documentation for all accounts in assigned regions.Manage credit-related documentation and master data for close-out stores.Produce monthly store count reports, past due reports, management reporting, and key metrics/scorecards for the assigned credit team.Review current systems and procedures for continuous improvement and manage special projects or directives from management.Oversee and mentor the activities of the assigned Credit Support Associate and assist with training and development.Who You AreYou are detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
