Salary Range: $69000 - $103000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard costs for materials labor and overhead.
• Analyze production costs overheads and inventory valuations.
• Investigate and report on variances between actual and standard costs.
• Manage and reconcile inventory accounts including work-in-process and finished goods.
• Prepare detailed cost reports and analyses for management decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of manufacturing budgets and cost forecasts.
• Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities and efficiency improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• 3 years of progressive cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of standard costing variance analysis and inventory valuation methodologies.
• Experience with bill of materials (BOMs) routings and production processes.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights to management.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
• Advanced SQL or database query skills for data extraction and analysis.
