Salary Range: $68000 - $102000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard costs for raw materials labor and manufacturing overhead.
• Analyze manufacturing costs variances and provide insights into cost drivers and trends.
• Perform inventory valuation reconciliation and obsolescence analysis for raw materials WIP and finished goods.
• Prepare detailed cost reports profitability analysis and product margin analysis.
• Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes related to production costs and inventory.
• Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities and efficiency improvements in production.
• Support month-end close activities including journal entries for COGS inventory and production variances.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• 3-5 years of cost accounting experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• In-depth knowledge of cost accounting principles including standard costing variance analysis and inventory valuation.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced costing modules within major ERP systems (e.g. SAP CO-PC Oracle EBS Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O).
• Proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation or actively pursuing.
