Salary Range: $71000 - $105000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard costs for raw materials labor and overhead.
• Analyze production costs variances and provide detailed explanations for deviations.
• Manage inventory valuation including costing methods obsolescence reserves and cycle counts.
• Prepare detailed cost reports profitability analysis and margin analysis for management.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process for cost of goods sold and manufacturing expenses.
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities and process improvements within manufacturing operations.
• Participate in month-end close activities related to COGS inventory and manufacturing expense accruals.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5 years of cost accounting experience specifically in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of standard costing variance analysis and inventory valuation methods.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and their financial implications.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced ERP costing modules (e.g. SAP CO Oracle Financials).
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
• Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Advanced Excel modeling skills including VBA or Power Query.
