Position: Cost Accountant
Location: Timmins, ON
Status: Full Time, Permanent
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA considered an asset.
- 8 10 years of cost accounting experience, experience in mining or relevant industrial industry.
- Strong Excel skills and Pronto software an asset.
OVERVIEW:
- Support the CFO by managing and analyzing all financial activities for the site.
- Develop, monitor, and reconcile operating budgets, forecasts, and cost reports, identifying variances and opportunities for efficiency and savings.
- Collaborate with operations, procurement, and departmental teams to control expenditures, manage inventory, and provide financial insights
