Cost Accountant - Hybrid Opportunity
Responsibilities: - Support all aspects of cost accounting - Manage month-end close activities for all manufacturing locations - Preparing standard journal entries - Review manufacturing variances and providing detailed analysis - Complete work order accounting close analyze variances collaborate with plant and costing teams and recommend updates to Bills of Materials - Generate production reports variance analyses and other reporting - Review and analyze standard costs investigate variances and prepare related reports - Provide support for the annual financial statement audit specifically for cost accounting topics - Ensure accuracy and completeness of assigned balance sheet accounts including preparing monthly reconciliations - Collaborate with the FP&A team on monthly quarterly and annual activities to deliver accurate results and meaningful variance commentary including supporting budget and forecast processes - Support cycle counts annual physical inventory counts and oversight of inventory at third-party and external manufacturing locations...We are a big time convenience store and gas station with multiple delicious food offerings (Nick & Moes Famous Fried Chicken, Pizza hut, Quiznos Subs, and Taco Del Mar) with a big time services and a small town feel.
