Job Description

About the Role

Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. is seeking a Buyer to support the Procurement Manager in executing procurement strategies for goods and services essential to company operations. This role optimizes purchasing processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency and serves as the primary Data Business Analyst for the procurement team. The Buyer audits contractual terms, develops cost-saving initiatives, and ensures service provider compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage service providers to meet contract terms, pricing, and service expectations

  • Negotiate vendor purchases in alignment with company needs and procurement policy

  • Ensure vendor compliance with pricing, volume, and service level agreements

  • Audit rental and lease equipment costs and manage telematics deployment

  • Execute invoice audits for accuracy in asset management and cost allocation

  • Maintain records of one-time purchases and report monthly supplier spend and savings

  • Oversee product testing to ensure compliance before procurement

  • Document and follow best practices under ISO standards

  • Audit vendor POs and invoices, address discrepancies, and support AP processing

  • Assist in managing Minority-Owned Business programs

  • Stay current on procurement trends through professional development

  • Collaborate with IT for automation solutions

  • Participate in all required training and adhere to safety and compliance standards

  • Travel as needed and comply with company, DOT, OSHA, and C-TPAT regulations

  • Perform other duties as assigned


Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business Administration or Supply Chain)

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in contract negotiation, spend data analysis, RFP/RFQ preparation, and vendor management

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)

  • Strong accounting knowledge, interpersonal skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent organizational skills and high integrity

  • Class D driver’s license and insurable under company policy
