Behavioral Health Specialist

We are hiring a Behavioral Health Specialist to provide case management and direct client support for individuals facing substance use, mental health challenges, and housing instability. In this role, you will conduct assessments, create personalized care plans, and connect clients with essential services. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide behavioral health support and case management for individuals in recovery
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized care plans, and track progress
• Connect clients with vital resources such as housing, employment, and healthcare
• Collaborate with medical professionals, counselors, and community organizations
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience working with individuals facing substance use disorders, mental illness, or homelessness
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or a related field

Preferred Skills:

• Multilingual skills (Spanish, Portuguese, or others) are a plus
• Master’s in Social Work (MSW) or LICSW, LSW, LCSW certification preferred
