Dermatology Nurse Practitioner
Job Location: Southfield, MI (Onsite).
Job Type: Per Diem, 1099 Contract.
Pay Rate: $130/hr.

VitalCheck Wellness is seeking a Nurse Practitioner  with dermatology experience to provide skin cancer screenings and general dermatological evaluations onsite at a private business with multiple locations in Southfield, MI. Our office arranges the patient appointments, provides all the equipment and does the administrative work, giving you the time and luxury to provide clinical one-on-one patient care in an office setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skin checks, skin cancer screenings and small procedures (as needed).
• Consult with patients to understand their dermatological health concerns.
• Advise/ refer patients for follow-up care.
  
• Provide telemedicine services for follow-ups (as needed).

Requirements:

• Active clean Nurse Practitioner (NP) license to practice in the state of MI.
  
• Active BLS/ ACLS certification required.
• Advanced practice certification in dermatology (preferred).
• Minimum 3-5 years of direct dermatology experience following post graduate training.
• A collaborating physician is necessary unless state requirements for independent/autonomous practice are met.
• Proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Patient education driven.
• Personal   laptop or tablet required.
• Must be able to commute to Southfield, MI.
